A FEW ANNOUNCEMENTS Youth group will continue to meet from 7-9pm on Sunday evenings . When there is mass we will meet at 6 pm. Please adjust your calendars! Our next youth group meeting is October 7th . We will begin studying the rosary. MISSION GROUPS will be meeting next Sunday Sept 23 to kick things off with planning and mission group topics! Keep your eyes peeled for the newsletter coming your way! ______________________________________________________________   We enjoyed a wonderful mass in a barn yesterday to kick off the 2012-2013 youth group year.  After enjoying worship with the straw, we ate a spectacular hot dog dinner and, of course, s’mores.  Then got back to our usual shenanigans! A great big THANK YOU to the Hemmingers’ for hosting such an awesome annual event.  And to Mrs. Turner for always feeding this hungry bunch!

Mohican Canoe Trip

What a fantastic trip down the river we had yesterday!  After 10:30 mass we drove down to Loudonville, enjoyed some lunch, loaded up the vans and enjoyed a peaceful, uneventful, joyous trip down the river :)                   HAHAHA! YEA RIGHT!  Ok, so we did enjoy ourselves and there was a lot of laughing, screaming, and heckling.  Overall, quite a bit of shenanigans.  The boys set up a phenomenal defense while the girls attacked with their best offense.  It all ended with a lot of canoe flipping, draining, re-flipping and retreating!     Sometimes it was just easier to walk.                               Hmmm…there seems to be a tree in the way.     That’s one way I suppose.               The catamaran approach.   Thanks to everyone who came along!
