Anchored Youth Ministry

Toss-up Tuesday tomorrow (6/27) will be volleyball at Nickelplate 6-8pm . All teens incoming 9th through outgoing 12th welcome! Next week we'll take a break for the 4th of July. Tuesday July 11th we'll be at Faben's for tennis (please bring an extra racquet/balls if you have them for those who don't) Special Mass & Mingle this Wednesday join us for 8:30am Mass at St. Peter. After mass we'll be joining daily mass goers in a good-bye brunch for Abe Congrats Abe! We love you!  

Bishop Thomas on Maverick! Diocesan Youth Mass at Cedar Point Conference Center

Toss-up Tuesday: Join us tomorrow (Tues Jun 20th) for the Diocesan Youth Day at Cedar Point . We'll meet at the merry-go-round around 10am and again at 3:30pm to go to mass with the bishop together at 4pm.  If you don't have a pass, it is only $40 for the day if you mention the Diocese of Toledo at the gate. Families are welcome. Mass & Mingles: Wednesdays this summer we're going to 8:30am mass at St. Peter followed by breakfast. Please bring cash.

First Presbyterian Church in Huron is in need of help with their community dinner every 2nd and 4th Wednesday 5-7:30pm. They are especially looking for people who are able to move tables and chairs. A free meal is included.

Of course we have Y.E.S. happening this week (please pray for us), but I want to let you know of some additional summer opportunities starting next week. Toss-up Tuesdays – Current 8-12th graders are invited to join area Christians for weekly summer socials popping up around town. Our first “Toss-up Tuesday” will be kickball at Osborn Park next Tuesday 6/13 from 6-8pm. (6/20 we will be at Cedar Point for the Diocesan Youth Day - more details to follow) Mass & Mingle – Wednesday mornings starting next Wed 6/14 teens are invited to come together for daily mass at St. Peter’s (8:30am) followed by breakfast at a local restaurant. We will walk someplace close unless teens have their own transportation.

  Please keep our teens, college students & adult volunteers in your prayers as we prepare to paint and repair these two houses next week for Y.E.S.   Also, please pray for the homeowners - Rhoda and Jean.
