Anchored Youth Ministry

It is not too late to register for Y.E.S.! We would love to get enough help to be able to add another house that's interested. But we need to know soon if we can do this. Forms are available on the forms tab above or in the narthex. I have met with the owner of one of the houses we will be painting. There were tears in her eyes when I told her what we were going to do for her. Trust me, being a part of this will do as much for you as it will for her. Registration for Y.E.S. (youth elect service) is now open. Y.E.S. is a 4 day, 3 night local retreat/service experience for high school teens. We work on teams to paint and do minor repairs to houses during the day, and have social and faith based activities in the evenings. The dates for Y.E.S. are June 7-10th (Wed-Sat). Registration deadline is May 15th . Space is limited to the first 25 participants. Registration forms are available here as well as on the "forms" tab above and hard copies are available on the table outside the office.

Join us for our next to last youth group of the year this Sunday 7-9 pm. We will be looking at the topic of "Suffering." How do we suffer with purpose? How do we journey with others who are suffering? What does it mean to find our identity in the cross? Explore these questions and more... This Sunday is Palm Sunday, so this Youth Group will be a great way to kick off Holy Week, as we contemplate the suffering of our Lord.
