Retreats Retreats Retreats

The new year has begun and we have started looking
ahead to what God may bring!  Check out the right side panel for the dates so you can mark them in your calendar!  If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us!

Sunday Night Youth Group
We will continue our normal schedule with Sunday night youth groups.  Mission group night will be geared toward retreat planning, but ARE STILL OPEN TO ALL AGE GROUPS!  Make it your habit to be there EVERY Sunday!

Steubenville
The St Peter High School Youth Group will be attending the Steubenville Youth Conference at the end of June (28th-30th) and for the first time we will be offering this as a retreat option for incoming freshman.  Historically we have asked that participants complete their first year of high school before attending this retreat.  We have an opportunity to travel with youth groups from Sandusky Lifeteen and Marblehead St. Joseph (~80 students) and their groups will include incoming freshman.  This retreat experience is unique for our teens as it will include 3000+ students from all over the country.  The themes center on the blessings and challenges of living out their faith in our world, especially the culture of high school.  As the retreat will include high school students freshman through seniors, it is important to consider the maturity and openness of your child to this kind of experience.
I have included the link to the website (www.steubenville.org/conference/theme_2013#) for any additional questions you may have regarding the retreat.  There are several students who have already committed to going and we will be reserving our spots on January 14th.  For those students who are considering preparing for and receiving the sacrament of Confirmation their freshman year and have commitments with extracurricular activities the first weekend in March when we have our parish Koinonia retreat, you may wish to consider this retreat option.  The cost is $180.00 for the retreat and ~$25.00 for bus transportation and t-shirt for the group.
As always, we never want the cost to be the reason a student doesn't attend, as we have donors who will sponsor a student if the need arises.
Please respond by email if your child  have an interest in attending so we can reserve a spot on the 14th!

Koinonia
The upperclassman have begun the awesome task of planning our exciting retreat to Koinonia! Please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for God to fill this weekend with fun, fellowship and time to be closer to HIM!
