A quiet week of reflection….

It was a smaller week at youth group this Sunday.  I must say, I do love the weeks of serious fun and silliness, but it’s nice every once and awhile to stop and reflect on why we all come together.

The strength of the Eucharist and His presence within the bread and wine is something we can take for granted.  On those Sundays when it’s the most difficult to drag yourself out of bed (or the Saturday when it’s so hard to drop what you’re doing) to make it to Mass, just remember – YOU GET TO SEE A MIRACLE. And then you get to be part of that miracle.  How lucky are you?? Just a little something to think about as we take a little Spring Break.

Sunday, March 23rd – NO YOUTH GROUP

Sunday, March 30th – Team Planning

Anyone else looking for a little more fun at youth group?  We have formed a social committee to plan some more social based events.  Have any suggestions?? Let us know – email stpetershuron@gmail.com. Or contact Jack Hufnagle, Kris Horman, or Joe Dandurand. We’re looking to get together about once a month.

**CONFIRMATION CANIDATES**

Your second interviews are THIS week!  Double check your time and get there! Please bring with you any unfinished items.

Also, Joey Boston would like to invite anyone looking for a location to Mancy’s for lunch after confirmation. Please see her invitation below…

Hi Everyone,

Several of us are planning to celebrate our confirmation candidates by attending a lunch at Mancy’s Italian Grill after the ceremony. ( http://www.mancys.com/ ) Mancy’s is located 7.5 miles from Rosary Cathedral.

Mancy’s is opening the restaurant for our small group. The room can accommodate 100 people and we have space for approximately 50 additional people. The price is $22 per person which includes: meal, tip and room set up fee. For this price you can select one of the following entrees:

· Lasagna

· Chicken Bellisimo (chicken breast portabella mushrooms and mozzarella with lemon butter tomato caper sauce)

All meals will be served at the table and come with the following:

· Oven roasted red skins

· small house salad

· bread

· coffee and iced tea

There is no bar and no dessert planned. The Chicken Bellisimo is the gluten free option.

If you would like to join us, please email Joey Boston at jbbmarketing@bex.net by Wednesday, March 19. Space is limited and reservations will be accepted until the space is full. Once your reservation is confirmed by Joey Boston, you will receive an email confirmation. Your payment is due to Joey Boston by Friday, March 28th, 2014.

Please note that this not a St Peter function and no formal program is planned.

Thank you and congratulations to all of our confirmation candidates.

Best regards,

Joey Boston
