‘Tis the Season

The beautiful season of Advent has begun.  Take this time to renew and refresh instead of hurry and stress.  Spend some extra time with family and friends and especially the One who created and adores you!  Here are some things you can look forward to this month….

CHERRY ST MISSION – This Friday! If you signed up for this service project please be sure to have you permission form signed and returned. If you would like to help sort the decorations please come over to church on Thursday at 7pm. If you have any further questions please contact Mary Ellen Longnecker at 419.271.4628.

YOUTH GROUP – this SUNDAY at 7pm.  We will be hosting a group called ‘The Culture Project’. (Team please arrive at 6:30 pm.)  To read more about their mission, check out their blog at http://blog.restoreculture.com/.

PRESENCE FOR CHRISTMAS – St. Peter’s is hosting an amazing series of events to help prepare us during this Advent season. We would like to encourage as many youth group members as possible to attend on TUESDAY, DEC 9TH. The evening begins at 7pm and includes amazing music, scripture, adoration, and an option for reconciliation. We hope to see you there.

Team Planning – Dec 14th 7-9pm

Caroling/Rosary – Dec 21st STARTS at 5 pm in the Gathering Space.

Confirmation Candidates – Keep meeting with your sponsors and working on your books.  Your next Decision Point meeting is on JAN 4th.

Tomorrow is SUNDAY

  Ahhh…a day to recharge after all the changes this week.    Join us tomorrow for YOUTH GROUP from 7-9 pm in the gathering space.  We want to catch up with you and power up the batteries for what the week may hand us. We hope to see you there! Don’t forget to grab some change for your group buckets. Let’s offer what we can and see what God will do! **Reminder** ALL CONFIRMATION STUDENTS/PARENTS/SPONSORS There is a mandatory meeting SUNDAY from 11:45am – 1:45pm Coming up…. Walk for Life – Are you interested in joining the group traveling to Washington D.C.?  Our travels will begin around 9 pm on Tuesday, Jan 21st. The bus will depart from St. Anthony’s, Milan.  The bus will return shortly after midnight the following night. The cost is $75.
