Porn Effect Speaker - Free Event

Join internationally acclaimed speaker Matt Fradd, founder of The Porn Effect website, as he exposes the harmful realities behind the fantasy of porn in his talk “Sex, Love and Porn: 7 Things the Porn Industry Doesn’t Want You To Know.”

This free public event will be held Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of BGSU’s Bowen-Thompson Student Union. Middle school and high school students (and their parents), college students and young adults are welcome.

According to a 2013 study by the Huffington Post, 70 percent of all men (and 30 percent of all women) watch pornography. And an estimated 450 million unique visitors checks out pornography websites each month. This means there are more visitors to pornography websites than Netflix, Amazon and Twitter, combined (Compared to Netflix: 46 million visitors; Amazon 110 million visitors; Twitter 160 million visitors).

Tomorrow is SUNDAY

  Ahhh…a day to recharge after all the changes this week.    Join us tomorrow for YOUTH GROUP from 7-9 pm in the gathering space.  We want to catch up with you and power up the batteries for what the week may hand us.
