Hosting Spark
Hello St Peter Families, Our parish holds a monthly adoration event called
. Ignite is focused on building a parish that is a community of intentional disciples, sharing our joys and challenges, helping each other keep our lives focused on Jesus Christ. During the first part of Ignite participants use a provided copy of the “LiveIT Gathering Guide” to read the Sunday readings and discuss them with members of their table. Individuals, families, and groups of friends are encouraged to use the “LiveIt Gathering Guide” offered at Mass Impact – Not another program. A way of life in Jesus Christ. (massimpact.us) and sit down together to read the mass readings for the week and then talk about them in their own home or gathering location. I encourage you to check it out. It is a total game changer! The second part of the Ignite event is adoration of Jesus Christ, present in the eucharist, with praise and worship music. During this time confession is usually offered and there is an opportunity to come forward and bring your intentions to a prayer team to pray over you for healing. The Ignite event lasts about one hour, 6:30-7:30pm, but you can come and go as you need to.

This school year the Ignite team at St Peter will begin having a dinner event before Ignite at 5:30pm called 
. Our St Peter Anchored, JH Youth Group, and PSR classes, will be hosting our Presence for Christmas Spark dinner on December 19th. Please consider donation a dish of your choice to feed 20 people, or volunteering you or your students time during the event.

We are having a Potluck themed dinner, so anything goes. Here is what we will need volunteer and donation-wise to make this December 19th Spark event a success. Please drop off donations to the gathering space by 4pm or arrive to volunteer by 5pm. The spark and Ignite event is 5:30-7:30.
