  I hope everyone is enjoying the second week of advent as we prepare for the coming of our Lord. T his past Sunday, we learned more about offering and all the blessings for which we are thankful. I challenge each of you to have that conversation with God and ask Him what he needs from you this week.  What can you offer?  If it’s not something that can be put in the offering plate, I encourage you to write it down and put it somewhere as a reminder! Maybe make an offering box/can of your own and place it inside when you’re done.  God has blessed us with time, treasure and talent to share with those around us.   Welcome to the Advent season…a season of hope, thanksgiving and preparation! Speaking of preparation…. JOIN US WEDNESDAY EVENING beginning at 6:30 pm .  There will be something for everyone!   ~ Organizing Christmas decorations for Cherry St Mission – help us prepare for our amazing trip to Toledo to spread our holiday cheer to those who need it most! Freshman and CSI will be continuing their programs and Jrs/Srs will be planning the next youth group.  We hope to see you there! **Schedule Change** Due to the holiday schedule we would like to postpone Dec 1st youth group to DEC 8th. A great big thank you to everyone who could make it to jar some delicious delicious applesauce. We will be using these, as well as the previously jarred pears, as a fundraiser before Christmas. Keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks for a wonderful, thoughtful and yummy gift idea for friends and family. SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY ….. Mass begins at 6pm followed by youth group at 7pm . Join us to celebrate the eucharist! Father Jeff will be expanding on the scriptures as we dive deeper into mass throughout the year. We will continue our focus on scripture at youth group as well. Good Evening Youth Group!   We are recovering from an awesome concert this past Sunday and gearing up for mission groups tomorrow!  We hope to see everyone as we are packing up the college care packages! ALL grades are welcome. **If anyone has leftover Halloween candy please bring it along to share with the college students** PSSST - Band practice starts at 6:30 on Sunday!!
