Saturday is Confirmation Day in Toledo! We would like everyone to take a moment and lift up our candidates in prayer as they prepare this week to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  May it be a blessed occasion for all those attending! Confirmation Parents please see this LINK for more information.  Be sure your candidate knows the gifts of the Holy Spirit as well. SUNDAY is youth group night beginning at 7pm .  Join us for a fun music filled night.  We will be joined by the Milan youth group as well as our own Jr. High.  We hope to see you there!

I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and glory of Spring today! We hope to see everyone at Youth Mass Sunday beginning at 6 pm! Youth Group to follow at 7 pm. A few reminders: Confirmation Candidates - Confirmation is right around the corner on May 2nd.  We are all praying for you and look forward to the gifts you'll share with those around you on that day and beyond.  Let us know if you have any questions. Spring Break can't come too quickly - is it seriously snowing? Team Planning is this Sunday at the Cencer House (1013 Harborview Dr) from 7-9pm. Come relax and review the year.  Looking ahead, we have 2 more youth groups and Graduation Mass! Confirmation Candidates - you should have everything turned in and ready to go.  Confirmation in May 2nd! Let us know if you have any questions.  T ime to get back in the game! Koinonia has come and gone.  3rd quarter is coming to an end.  A hint of spring is in the air.  We are deep in the trenches of Lent.  At this point, everyone needs a little pep talk... Join us for Mass and Youth Group this Sunday beginning at 6 pm !  Get your game face on with the one who created the life you are experiencing (good, bad and everything in between). Come share the love, joy and peace of the holy spirit with those around you :) We hope to see you there! We are blessed and excited to report another fantastic retreat experience at Koinonia!   This year we explored the scripture 'Jesus Walks on Water' found in Matthew 14:22-33.  We focused mainly on the topic...if you want to walk on water, you have to step out of the boat.  What are your fears? What keeps us in our boat? Who is in our boat? Have we ever experienced 'walking on water'? A moment when you knew you were spot on and Christ was present all around you.  And then you look away and start sinking. What are all those distractions around us that keep us from focusing on Christ and all the amazing adventures He has planned for us? What do you do when you're sinking? What tools does Christ give us? Are we ready to call out for His help? It gives me goosebumps just thinking of all the incredible memories we share from this weekend!  Thank you to all who were lifting our group up in prayer and to those who supported us in ways that never get enough credit! Take a break from the glitter glue and red paint and think for a moment about the one who loves us most of all! We can be so thankful we are loved beyond our wildest dreams!  Ohio State fans or not, last Monday was a fun game to watch (and a good reason to end Retreat Planning a tad early :) ) Thanks to all those who attended planning.  Keep those brainstorming ideas going this week as we let the holy spirit be visible this week in our lives.  We will meet again on MONDAY (19th) at 7 pm at the Murphy home . We hope to see all retreat planners there! If you think this is a boring time of year - think again!  Look at all that is happening....
